Install CtrlC-CtrlV as an app on your phone (iPhone and Android)

Two taps are enough to add CtrlC-CtrlV to your home screen: the site then opens full-screen, with its own icon, like a real app — no app store, no download, no account.

On iPhone or iPad (Safari)

1. Open ctrlc-ctrlv.net in Safari (Apple’s browser — this option doesn’t exist in every other app).

2. Tap the Share button: the square with an upward arrow, in the middle of the bottom bar.

3. Scroll down the list and tap “Add to Home Screen”.

4. Tap “Add” at the top right. That’s it: the C→V icon appears on your home screen, and the site now opens full-screen.

On Android (Chrome)

1. Open ctrlc-ctrlv.net in Chrome.

2. Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right.

3. Tap “Add to Home screen” (on some phones the option is called “Install app”).

4. Confirm. The C→V icon joins your apps — Chrome sometimes offers to place it automatically.

Why it’s convenient

The site opens full-screen, without the address bar, straight onto your procedures — your saved answers and access code are still there, since it’s the same site. No updates to manage: you always have the latest version. And it takes virtually no storage: it’s a smart shortcut, not a download.

Frequently asked questions

Does this download an app onto my phone?

No — nothing installs in the classic sense. It’s an enhanced shortcut to the site that opens full-screen with its own icon. It takes virtually no storage and can be removed like any icon.

Will my answers and access code be kept?

Yes: the home-screen app uses the same browser and local storage as the site. Your in-progress answers, your last saved recap and your code remain available.
